Fulbright for Doctoral Students

Fulbright Germany supports young German scientists who carry out a four- to six-month research project at a U.S. university or scientific institution that is directly related to their academic dissertation.
The research project to be funded will contribute to strengthening academic relations between U.S. and German universities.

Joachim Herz Award | Add-on Fellowships for Interdisciplinary Life Science

In 2024, the Joachim Herz Stiftung would once again like to enable up to 50 scientists in the early stages of their careers to take the famous "look beyond the horizon".
The Add-on Fellowship supports doctoral students and postdocs in the life sciences and related fields of research.
Over a period of two years, the fellows receive up to 12,500 EUR over a period of two years, which can be used for international networking and further training in other disciplines, for hardware and software and for career development and science communication programmes. Scholarship holders with children can also apply for funding to help them combine family and career.
Applications are possible by June 4, 2024.
