About the person:
Paula Ríos López initially studied linguistics and philosophy in Spain. She then obtained a BA in Psychology. In addition, she obtained a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience of Language (2013-2014), which facilitated her entry into science. From 2014 to 2018, she obtained her PhD in Cognitive Psychology and Psycholinguistics at the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain, and Language (BCBL) in collaboration with the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). After her PhD, she worked at the BCBL as a Postdoctoral Affiliate Researcher, conducting EEG and MEG studies to investigate language processing in the brain, while honing her analytical and programming skills in languages such as R and Python. From August 2020 to September 2022, she was first a Postdoctoral Researcher and then a Visiting Scientist for CBBS at LIN until September 2023. Since July 2023, she has been working as a Data Scientist at Toll Collect GmbH.
