Coaching and Peer Counseling

The DocAG serves as a forum to both develop strategies for conflict resolution within one's professional life, and as an exchange for young female scientists to discuss their careers. In periodic meetings, these scientists from the engineering, natural, and social sciences reflect upon recent critical situations within their own research projects or career paths. Other relevant topics, such as work-life balance, are also discussed.

Every four to six weeks, this exchange is supported by professional group coaching sessions, lead by an independent supervisor. Two experienced postdoctoral researchers provide further support. The goal of the DocAG is to create and deepen an interdisciplinary support network of young researchers, and we would be happy to include any interested female scientists.
