Elbauenpark Magdeburg
The Elbauenpark is located in the east of the city. During a walk through the park you can not only marvel at the many green spaces, but also experience all kinds of things. The park offers various attractions, such as the Millennium Tower, the Butterfly House or the climbing park.
Stadtpark Rotehorn
The city park also offers extensive green spaces that invite you to take a walk and have a picnic. On the lake in the middle of the park you can go pedal boating or you can drive up the Albinmüller tower to enjoy the view over Magdeburg.

Nordpark
The Nordpark is located near the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. In summer, many students use the park to barbecue together with friends.
Fürstenwall
The Fürstenwall is located near the Magdeburg Cathedral. On the former city walls you can now walk along and enjoy the direct view of the river Elbe.
Lakes
Barleber Lake
The Barleber Lake is located in the north of the city. You can reach the lake either by car or by tram line 10 (terminus "Barleber See" - from there it is a 20 minutes walk).
Neustädter Lake
The Neustädter Lake can be reached by tram line 1,8 and 9. At the adjoining Cable Island you can try out different water sports.
